Starting at Gran San Bernardo, making your way through the mountainous Aosta region admiring the majestic peaks, through the lush plains of Piedmont with its architecture, slow food and fabulous wines into Emilia-Romagna with its medieval cities and rich gastronomy to the famous rolling hills of Tuscany to the walled city of Lucca. Enjoy delicious Italian cuisine, local wines, and warm hospitality from the locally run accommodation with a small group of like-minded travellers. The Via Francigena awaits – come walking!
